Production 2018

Room 4 did a wonderful job in our full school production. It has been a busy  week for them but the benefits received from participating are huge !!We hope to inspire a love of story telling and performance and also for students to understand that nothing replaces hard work in order to get better  at something ! I think I have spotted many an aspiring star ............

I tried to get photos of everyone so apologies if I missed anyone ! Thanks again to the wonderful parents who helped with the bird costumes. 

Our normal routines continued.

We welcomed new students.

Time for a holiday now and a good rest in preparation for a busy Term 4.Thank you for all your support.

Week 9

 What a fabulous job Room 4 did at our full school assembly. The Art work looked great and Sadie and Jed read in lovely clear, loud voices.Well done everyone -you have worked so hard during our Art sessions and produced some beautiful work.We also won the Assembly Bear for best class !

 Reading rotation is a well established routine now! We are using the Listening Post to listen to Letterland and the big white boards to write letters and words. Every 3 weeks a new activity is introduced.

Room 4

Another busy week ! 

 What fantastic writers we are becoming in Room 4 ! Everyone is settling to their work so quickly-drawing wonderful brainstorms and working hard to write down the dominant sounds in words. Come into Room 4 read some of our stories !

 We have recycled tins and now have great containers to hold everything we need at out tables to help us with our learning. 

 We had some fun with the i-pads -learning to take great photos from up above -down below and alongside !

We loved the story of Angus McTavish!

His poor wife tried everything to make him stop snoring -putting all sorts of things on him -but no luck !
